My First Week On Medium
I discovered Medium a few months ago. Anytime I looked up how be a better college student or work on my time management skills, a Medium article always popped up on my search.
Most of the time, I read them because they were both insightful and informative. They gave me advice on my issues.
A few weeks ago, I continued to search how to grow as a young writer, build my portfolio and gain my fan base. Every site led me to Medium in some way, how it’s helped millions of freelance writers like me with the same issue.
I also read where I could not only get paid for my work over time, but accomplish all of the goals I had for myself. The deeper I read into Medium, the more I fell in love with it.
So I finally signed up on Friday, Feb. 12. I didn’t really know what to expect. All I knew was that I could write, and over time, I could make some money on the side.
I wrote my first article about George Harrison’s first visit to America in September of 1963 and how he sparked Beatlemania in the states. As of this writing, it still has no views. But I didn’t let that stop me.
I knew I couldn’t write just one article that day, so I continued to write more on topics like college life, writing and anything else came to mind. I didn’t really know what what I was doing, but I dove into the deep…
