How to Kick Ass in College
Your college years can be the best time of your life. It can also be the most stressful. However you decide to make college is up to you.
Nevertheless, you can still kick ass in college and still have fun. Here’s how:
Go to Class.
Seriously, attend every one of your classes. They will be beneficial for you when it comes to projects, tests, quizzes and anything else a class demands throughout the semester.
Missing a class will not fail you, but it could lead to a bad grade or you may begin to struggle in the class. Lectures are boring; I know from experience. But go anyway. You’ll be glad you did when it finally pays off.
Take Classes Outside of Your Major.
It’s great to enjoy your major, but you don’t have to take just every class that goes toward it. Instead, take something completely out of your major.
Here at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, I major in journalism with minors in political science and history. But I didn’t stop there with my classes. So far, I’ve taken a history of the Big Ten and a creative writing class. Both were enjoyable and a breath of fresh air.
