It’s that time of year again: Valentine’s Day. It’s the weeks-long holiday benefiting the greeting card company’s financially and humans passionately.

It’s all fun and games for couples to show love for one another and children to make crafts and eat candy. For single men and women however, it’s a day we dread.

It doesn’t have to be just another day on your calendar though. Being single is okay, and with these following benefits, you can still make the most out of this day of love.

You Can Treat Yourself.

Instead of buying an overpriced teddy bear, steak dinner and flowers for that special someone, go ahead and treat yourself.

Buy yourself a good dinner. Catch up on your favorite activity. Do whatever you place to treat yourself.

Being single is a tough gig sometimes. You deserve it.

You Can Save Money.

Instead of wasting money on useless items like associated chocolates, flowers and dinner, you can save much more money being single.

Dinner for one is cheaper than dinner for two, most of the time. Embrace the feeling of saving your cash for something you need, not for someone you don’t know if you will be with forever.

Not Dealing With the Drama.

You save the arguing with your significant other, because you don’t have one. Since you’re single, you don’t have to worry about impressing…
